Kinshasa, March 2sd, 2023 (CPA).- An Egyptian delegation has exchanged with the Minister of Hydraulic Resources and Electricity on the possibilities to serve the Democratic Republic of Congo in electric energy and water, said the Egyptian ambassador, Hesham el Makwad, head of the delegation.
« I led an Egyptian delegation under the auspices of the Egyptian Council of Industrial Engineering, composed of delegates of companies working in the field of electricity and water, to exchange with the Minister of Water Resources and Electricity, to see the possibility of serving the DRC in electricity, « said the Egyptian ambassador, Hesham el Makwad, head of the delegation.
The objective was to exchange ideas and see the possibilities of expanding the market for more Egyptian companies and know the modalities of increasing the market, he added. For the Egyptian ambassador in the DRC, there is already a cooperation that exists between the two countries in this area.
« An Egyptian team is on the ground and working in this area. Our discussion was how to expand the market for more Egyptian companies and know the modalities because the market is very large in Congo, » he said.
