Kinshasa, March 4th, 2023 (CPA). – The second album of the Congolese musician Jordan Kusa entitled « Apola jamais » immortalizes the Congolese Rumba through the launching of a few tracks that he recently unveiled on all legal download platforms, CPA noted.
This second album after « Danger of death » released in 2005, is a clever cocktail naturally dominated by Rumba but especially an album oriented towards a broader ideal, » said this former member of the group Quartier Latin International of Koffi Olomide.
« Apola jamais » (which also translates as: always keep hope and never get discouraged) benefited from the artistic contribution of some former Congolese artists from Quartier Latin International living in Paris, France, notably Mboshi Lipasa, Modog oAbarambwa, Chamberton and Zoe Bella.
The titles « Friandise », « Nteke fiesta », « On va s’enjailler », « Sans toi », « Zua no nga » and two generic tracks are already available on the web.
Before the release of his second opus, Jordan Kusa stayed in Tanzania to make a video clip, with the help of his producer Jimmy Houetinou and his manager Francky Joezzay, they officially launched « Apola jamais » on February 18th before the Beninese press.
The man who is called « Mabele ya nkolo » (Land of the Lord) by those close to him, promises to carry out the same exercise with the cultural press in Kinshasa in the next few days and then in France.
With this second album, he intends to reconnect with his fans through quality artistic productions; it is in this approach that the artist has resorted to the African music producer, Jimmy Houétinou, whose label »Jimmy’s Productions » has distinguished itself over forty years in the productions of African music stars including Richard Flash, Awilo Longomba, Aurlus Mabele and the group Loketo.
