Kinshasa, march 14th, 2023 (CPA).- Four new cures were recorded on Saturday in the province of Nord Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), reported the daily bulletin of the Technical Secretariat of the Multisectoral Committee for the response to Covid-19, which reached CPA on Monday.
The same source informs that no new case of the disease was notified on Saturday, out of 454 samples tested across the country.
All provinces have been affected by this epidemic as follows: Kinshasa (50,883 cases); Nord Kivu (10,776 cases); Sud Kivu (7,035 cases); Kongo Central (6,555 cases); Lualaba (6,124 cases); Haut Uele (4,058 cases); Haut Uele (1,705 cases); Tshopo( 1,583 cases); Ituri (1. 444 cases); Kasai Oriental (957 cases); Sud-Ubangi (903 cases); Equateur ( 615 cases); Kasai Central (561 cases); Kasai (493 cases); Maniema (354 cases); Lomami (341 cases); Nord-Ubangi (292 cases); Kwilu (230 cases); Mongala (207 cases); Tshuapa (154 cases); Mai-Ndombe (129 cases); Kwango (127 cases); Bas-Uele (108 cases); Haut-Lomami (91 cases); Tanganyika (62 cases); Sankuru (58 cases).
Since the declaration of the epidemic in DRC on March 10th, 2020, the cumulative number of cases is 95,850, of which 95,848 are laboratory confirmed and 2 probable. In total, 84,383 people have been cured and 1,464 have died.
