Kathryn Boyd Brolin was born on the 12th of October, 1987, making her 19 years younger than her husband. Her birth name is Kathryn Brittney Boyd, but she gained Brolin’s last name after marrying the famous actor.
Kathryn received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia, graduating in 2009 with a certificate in photojournalism. After that, she studied photography at the Santa Reparata School of Art in Florence.

Kathryn Boyd met her husband, Josh Brolin, while serving as his assistant behind the scenes of Oldboy, the 2013 movie that featured Samuel L. Jackson and Elizabeth Olsen.
They dated for a while before Josh decided to pop the question in 2015, shortly after they made their red carpet debut as a couple. They got engaged for over a year and tied the knot in 2016.
