Tommy was actually named after his famous father, as Jack Black’s real name is Thomas William Black. Growing up as the younger brother to Samuel (who’s 19 now), Tommy has always been the more mysterious one of the Black brothers.
While Samuel has dabbled in voice acting —he even worked on “Kung Fu Panda 3”— Tommy has his own more unique path.
